Air Fried Tuna Cakes with Kimchi Mayo Dip

INGREDIENTS
 184.00 g Canned, Tuna
 1.00 piece red onion, medium size
 3.00 piece garlic clove, minced
 1.00 piece Bell pepper, red
 2.00 piece green onion, stalk
 1.00 tbsp All Purpose Flour
 1.00 piece Eggs, raw
 1.00 cup breadcrumbs
 0.50 tsp Salt, Iodized
 0.50 tsp Black Pepper Crushed
 0.50 cup kimchi
 0.50 cup mayonnaise

Prepare the mis en place by peeling the onions, garlic, chop into quarters. Deseed the tomatoes and chop them into quarters. Same with the red bell pepper.

Using a sieve, drain the water in the canned tuna.

Process the onions, garlic, tomatoes, bell peppers and oil using the Breville blender for 1 min.

In a bowl, mix the minced veggies with the tuna, flour, beaten egg and chopped green onions (This will give texture to the tuna cakes). Season with salt and pepper.

Mold the tuna mixture into patties and coat them with breadcrumbs.

Using the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer, spray the air fry basket with oil together with the tuna cakes. Air Fry for 10 mins under 200 Deg C.

Make the kimchi mayo dip by processing the prepared kimchi together with the mayo using the Breville blender until well combined.

Once cooked, assemble the tuna cakes on a plate with the kimchi mayo dip on the side. Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy.
